Thanks Dwella, so far its been nothing but positive. All the bugs seem to have been ironed out, and hopefully it works well.

I love the look of it! Easy to find what you're looking for. However, the thumbnail images on the main page next to the articles seem to be a little blurry.

Very nice, I love the slick professional look! It is also nice how past articles look more prominent and are easier to scan and find at a glance.

These will improve with time, the thumbnails need to be reuploaded, so new articles it will look alot better.

Awesome! Good to know and thanks. Keep up the great work on all the sites. The FAQ site is flying under the radar as it gets updated with new info as well. Everyone, stop over and check that site out as well.

Is the new design of BBN causing issues with the BlackBerryNews feed bot?

For example:

Quote:
If you are somehow unfamiliar with BeeJive, it is one of a handful of must have applications for any BlackBerry user, and is the only app that we fully recommend purchasing. There is no better time than the next week to make said purchase; BeeJiveIM will be on sale from Midnight PT Monday, February 23, until [...] pa href="http://feedads.googleadservices.com/~a/NB_YTbjmA5X5h95rM0SlO5Y5-jU/a"img src="http://feedads.googleadservices.com/~a/NB_YTbjmA5X5h95rM0SlO5Y5-jU/i" border="0" ismap="true"/img/a/pimg src="http://feeds2.feedburner.com/~r/Blackberrynewscom/~4/QAafNme6VhQ" height="1" width="1"/

Yes, that is an odd one. Didn't notice it until now. I will investigate what the issue is.

The site is visually appealing. It looks fantastic.

At the time of my post the Didiom article is NOT yet showing in the Blackberry News forum section.

Also, is it possible for all your posts for a given day to get the exposure the Didiom article is getting? If you post one article at 9:00 a.m. and the other 9:30 a.m., the later posted article gets the exposure or perceived greater significance??????

If I am a sponsor, I will want to be the last post of the day.

None of these posts are sponsor related, It's the latest article.. not the greatest.

Thanks for the feedback. We do plan out when certain articles are published and in some cases how long they remain as the lead article. As to your point about being the end-of-day article, extended time as the lead article does not mean max exposure. We see far higher readership at other specific intervals throughout a the day, week or month, and we schedule accordingly.

Wirelessly posted (Its All About the U!)

Understood.
I thought it was chronologically related. Thanks for the clarity.

There is quite a bit of blank, white space between the main article and the smaller articles below.

Also, the article comments are not lined up properly and do not show who left the comment.

Or is it just me? Could be me...my PC is possessed.

Juwaack, the white space is an ad placement. Do you have an ad filter on your PC?

For your comments alignment and names, I don't know. They show correctly for me.

Hmmm... no ad filter since I see ads fine other sites (like this one and another one I frequent).

I've attached a 2 page .pdf so you can see what I'm seeing. Again, it is very likely my laptop...I think it's time for a re-image <<shudder>>

Interesting. I don't have either issue. Is it the same if you use Firefox?

Well, I'm glad it's 'just' me then. Not sure about Firefox - this is a company laptop and that sort of rouge application is not allowed

*sigh*....I may have to schedule that re-image soon...I just hate having those done. It takes weeks to find all the 'little things' that go missing and I don't use often enough to notice right away.

Wow, That it strange Julie. This went through several browser tests, and all of them posted fine. Are you seeing ads on BlackBerryForums? it seems that a couple of companies are now using adblockers on corporate computers, and we have a couple of users experiencing this.

Yea, I can see the ads on BBF just fine. I'll check it out on my home PC and see if it's doing the same thing there, too.

I will also test it when I'm connected to my home network vs. work network. There is one other site I have problems with from work, that works fine at home, so you could be onto something....
