Default URLs in RSS feeds are wrong

I've noticed that the URLs in the RSS feeds have "-new-post" tacked onto them, disabling an RSS reader to open the page (I don't get a 404 but an empty page). Can this be fixed?

the -new-post.html indication simply redirects it to a #postid for the new post. i'm not really sure why this would affect an RSS reader, assuming it supports redirects.

You are right: I'd tested with Sage for Firefox and it doesn't work there. Netnewswire does it correctly. Thanks.
