Recently it seems thread subscriptions have started sending notifications when a "LinkBack" to a subscribed thread is found. I only want to know when there are new posts to a thread. Can LinkBack notifications be made an option or simply removed please?

I understand the forum admins really care about these. This is a great forum. But finding that someone has linked to a thread doesn't provide any new information on the topic.

It's interesting when it happens but not productive. It's more FYI.

My thoughts on those are still pending? I don't know enough about how they work and what the benefits are?
