Default RIM MSN software

Please Login to Remove!

I have a demo of Jivetalk, but thought I'd try out the RIM freebie before I bought it, seeing as MSN is the only one I use.

When I try to install it, I connect my BB up as instructed, but just get the very informative(!)

An unspecified error has occurred.

I have no problems connecting the BB to the PC, the desktop manager and all works fine, tried restarting, pulling the battery, the usual stuff.

Any ideas?

MSN live messenger is not allowed on all networks, I know it is on TMO-US, I am not positive about TMo-UK.

I have no problem with JiveTalk, or is it using some different port/protocol with the RIM software.

As far as I know TMo UK only allow you to have it with a BB plan.
