No notifications after update
 

After updating to the new facebook app, I've stopped receiving notifications on my bb. Anyone else experiencing the same problem?

not only those but it tells me to re-log in and boots me out

well, im gonna try to help ya since i've been having problems with notifications of and on for the last two weeks.

do this...fb -> options -> uncheck 'facebook notifications'. Go back to the ur feed, then back to the options and log out. Exit the app. Open it up, log in...and when you log in, it may tell you that 'there is a problem with notifications. a message will be sent to you when notifications will be enabled'. What an odd message lol. Ignore it when it comes on. Go to options and turn on 'facebook notifications' and exit back to ur feeds.

For me this has always worked when i was having issues except lately it only works for a few days until i stop receiving notifications, then i have to do it again. wierd.

If that doesn't work, uninstall it and delete any mention of the word "facebook" using the "files" app in the Applications folder. Facebook stores files both on ur media card and ur unit. Erase those, and reinstall facebook. If that doesn't work. Bear with it for a bit. :(

I was only receiving notifications of new messages (private email messages) from F/B.
It's okay with me though, because I didn't want the app filling up my screen constantly with everyones status updates and comments.....lol
