Dear guys, I'm using a bold 9700. There's the FB icon showing on my home screen. However, there are no unread FB messages. Why is it still there?

Do a battery pull. That might clear it.

install quickpull it's much better without having you to pull out the battery physically...yes it's simply bugs from your OS

Quickpull is nice, but I have seen some bugs that actually need a hard reset. (Only a few however)

Thanks for the replies. Another note, there is a particular notification on my facebook, each time I read it, a few days later, it shows unread again on my bb. I cannot seem to delete it, don't know why.

p/s it keeps on appearing as unread, even though I've open it. Hence, the FB icon keeps on appearing on my bb. I have done a hard reset (pulling out the battery)

hi guys. may i ask why is it that when i use facebook on my blackberry, my phone will restart on it's own? it happens whenever i use it.
