Can't clean FB notifications from BB.
 

I am having issues with deleting the FB notifications that come to my phone. I have tried downloading the newest version of Facebook, and a few other things. Any suggestions are welcome.

Depending on the type of notification, you may have to control it from the account via a computer log in. subscriptions and other links can load up notifications.
Try a battery pull to see if that helps.

In the app, open the tab where it shows you your notifications, click *no new notifications*, or the notifications tab. This will open a list of all your notifications, highlight the latetst date in blue, press the menu button and select 'mark prior read' the stuck notifications should now be gone from your homescreen.
