Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 9000 4.6.0.67)

It will be like learning any other keypad. Going from a regular phone to qwerty or qwerty to suretype. Just takes practice.

I don't have that patience anymore. I tried to txt using my son's phone last night and gave up after 5 minutes of trying to type one word. I'm used to using the BB and qwerty and that's it now.

I've used qwerty and qwertz keyboads on a PC so I don't think I would have that much of an issue. Also I have a couple people checking to see if the keypad can be changed and the phone programming updated to be qwerty.

My guess is that it's a product of the vendor coding and that it can't be changed.

From other phones that I have seen that people have tried to change they weren't able to cause it's in the coding and such...so I would say it wouldn't be able to ...would just have to watch out though cause people could change the keypad and say that it's qwerty but it's actually qwertz
