I am using a picture as theme instead of default themes. I would like to reduce in maximum the icons which appear such as time, and other text in order to see the full picture. Who knows and has experience with this issue.

i would assume there is an issue with service books...

Actually this would be something for the Media Section. There is a huge selection of themes that can or will be able to do what you would like, as well as allow you to use the wallpaper you want. Most themes are for a a few $$, but if you search deeper you will be able to find some free themes that do what you want. Or you could always take a shot of creating your own theme, and download the Plazmic Theme software.
