Do they have an OTA version? I'm in between computers right now. My old one died and I'm waiting for my new Dell to be built and to arrive. So the only way for me to install would be OTA. And how long is this special good for?

I would definitely be interested in an OTA version of this software.

OTA or MAC + 7100g support would sell me.

Both the 7100T and 7100G are the same in terms of support and functionality of the software.

How do you get the 20% off. I try the link posted here and the price is the same. Is there a prom code?

Default be careful with this software - 05-09-2005, 06:21 PM

I learned the hard way with this software that if you don't have a signal, but are using the auto-update function, your bberry will run itself out of juice before stopping to attempt the auto-update. Otherwise, this software is very nice. It is generally a good application.

Is this your way of reporting this as a bug or problem? That sounds easily fixed in a future release.

It always a good idea to download while hooked up to the charger. Just for that very reason!

No, it was my way of saying that if you don't have a signal, your bb will run out of juice trying to update.

Is this offer still valid ?

I enter berryforum20 in the shopping cart and update and there is no change of price.

I'm using a 30 day trial and I want to get the 12 month package.

Is there another code out there for a discount on this service ?

Default Problem With Pocket Express - 07-03-2005, 04:54 PM

I'm a relatively new Blackberry user, I have a Verizon 7250 and am enjoying it immensely. I have been unable to make my trial copy of Pocket Express work, however. I downloaded successfully, but when I try to connect the system balks and I get a message: "Can be caused by incorrect carrier settings." If I try to cancel, it takes me to Page One of Pocket Express, with a menu of possible connections, including news. Clciking on news takes me to another menu, with "All Stories" as one of th choices. Clicking on All Stories takes me back to the message: "Can be caused by incorrect carrier settings." Frustrating!

I do not have access to a Blackberry Enterprise Server. As I understand it, that means that I must connect through a WAP gateway. My 7250 doesn't seem to have any pre-sets for a Verizon WAP connection, although there are buttons for just about every other carrier I ever heard of. The VW techies don't seem interested in my problem. They suggest that I talk to Pocket Express and the vendors of any other aps I hope to run. Any suggestions?

Does pocket express use your web minutes from cingular? I am wondering if it is going to use my web minutes or if it runs from the BB itself with no connecting.

I did the trial on my Pearl but no way am I paying $70 a year for a glorified home page. Thats all it really is, a bunch of news and other links put neatly in icon order.

Just make a home page yourself or just add a bunch of news links to your bookmarks and save $70.

I contacted Handmark and they stated the 20% discount code is no longer valid.

That's good for you. Pocket Express is a neat little application but I only use the "free" stuff. The items they charge you for can all be had for free via other applications floating around. No way should you pay for this stuff.
