I have been selling these since early 2011, over 4 years ago now, and have sold over 8000 in 5, 10 and 50 packs. Check the sold listings and response on them. I have had reports & a few (very few) complaints that they are NOT suitable for audio amplifier use. You\'ll see I sell pinball parts, this transistor is commonly used on power supply boards, and for such I\'ve had no complaints. ALL, 100% of the complaints (again very few), have used such words & phrases as \"HFC Spec\", gain \"matching pair\" and blah-blah words and are using them in audio amplifiers. I suggest you pass on these if that\'s your intent. Or take a chance because they are inexpensive. These are old NOS (New Old Stock) and not counterfeits. The company I purchased them from in America is top notch, and says they have been in their inventory for over 10 years. Legs are not perfectly straight and there\'s scratches & scuff marks from being moved over time.Sold AS-IS with no returns.
