Controls:
Honeywell digital programmable control, (2) Watlow Hi-Limit controls, Honeywell digital chart recorder, Granville-Phillips vacuum controller, Hasting Vacuum Gauge, and Hunterdon VRT\'s all mounted in an enclosed free standing 2-door panel.
General:
Double wall water cooled horizontal front load vessel. Interior has graphite liner with 2-zone graphite heating elements on both walls. Pumping system consists of a Varian SD 2500 mechanical pump and Varian diffusion pump. Power to the heating elements is through VRT\'s. The furnace can be back filled with Argon or N2 gases for cooling. A cooling fan mounted in rear circulates cooling gases throughout the work area.
This furnace is disconnected and in climate controlled storage. There is some visible wear and cracking of the graphite liner near the door opening. There are minor exterior cosmetic issues such as dust, paint scratches/scuffs. There is onesmall pipe connectionnear the bottom of the exterior shell that needs repair. Hot zone looks to be in good condition. Operation condition is unknown.
