I\'m an enthusiast, not a professional seller - so if you have problems with this, I\'ll be pleased to help if I can.
This ESP-12F is mounted on an adapter board of my own design that breaks its 2mm pin spacing out to a breadboard friendly 2.54mm pitch, doesn\'t take up the full width of the breadboard. All pins of the ESP-12F are broken out and labelled on both sides of the board. It has an onboard 3.3v / 1A voltage regulator and all the necessary pull up/down resistors needed for normal operation of the ESP-12F. It features an optional reset/program button (quick press to reset, longer press for flash program mode), plus other features that I find really useful while prototyping, yet it\'s small and lean enough to embed in finished projects. All you need to do is attach the power source of your choice (e.g. USB 5V) and away you go! A USB-serial adapter or other serial interface is required to configure the board of course.Available in 3 specification levels, so you don\'t have to pay for features you don\'t need:
1) With ESP-12F module attached, ready to go, with the necessary pull up/down resistors in place for normal operation of the module.
2) As above plus onboard 3.3V / 1A voltage regulator circuit with 2x \"3.3V out\" pins to power the rest of your project.
3) Full spec: as above plus combined program/reset button for easy flash programming.
See my other listing if you would prefer to use your own ESP-07, ESP-08, ESP-12, ESP-12E or ESP-12F module.
The ESP-12F is the latest and greatest ESP8266 802.11 b/g/n WiFi module. Pin for pin compatible with the latest ESP-12E but with improved stability and wireless range. This tiny board has up to 13 usable GPIO pins (inc 5 dual purpose) and an ADC input. It has 4Mbyte flash memory and it is possible to roll out software updates to it over-the-air. Use it as a cheap and easy way to add WiFi to your Arduino / Raspberry Pi etc, or use it standalone as a powerful WiFi enabled MCU in its own right.
IMPORTANT: The ESP-12F is a 3.3v module. Applying 5v to VCC or data pins can fry the board!
Adapter board features include:
  • Onboard 3.3v voltage regulator.
  • Optional combined reset/program button.
  • Standard 0.1 inch pin spacing.
  • Size 46mm x 25mm.
  • Adapter includes the required pull up/down circuitry to configure the ESP-12F for normal running.
  • Fits a standard breadboard leaving 1 row of holes free on each side.
  • All ESP-12F pins broken out and labelled on both sides of the board.
  • 2x 5v outputs and 2x 3.3 outputs* to power attached devices.
  • Flexible power source options; USB power, 4.8V to 15V unregulated, battery power (or other 3V - 3.6V unregulated source).
  • USB-Serial adapter connections duplicated along bottom edge for convenience.
  • Easy support for \"hands free\" flash programming**.
  • Printed documentation included.
*Assumes USB power input. Actual number of power outputs depends on what you are using as a power source.** DTR and RTS pins exposed in Comms / USB section for easy hands-free flash updating where supported by your flash programming application (E.G. Esptool, Arduino IDE and others).
ESP-12F features include:
  • A complete and self-contained 802.11 b/g/n, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networking solution.
  • Powerful 32 bit microcontroller with 4mbyte of flash memory
  • Up to 13 usable GPIO pins (inc 5 dual purpose) & 1 ADC input
  • All modern WiFi protocols supported natively.
  • Works as an access point and/or in station mode.
  • Mesh network capability via standard firmware.
  • Communicates via standard UART serial interface.
  • You can program it like an Arduino without flashing the chip first!!!
  • Over the air software updates supported.
Flashable, Controllable by well documented AT commands, programmable via the standard Arduino IDE, or NodeMCU LUA interpreter, or using C via the free official SDK, various other methods also available.
