Bench Testing of Products Sold
Before an item is listed(electronic), it is power tested it if it requires power, and if it is amotherboard it is tested in the system before dismantling, or if it is aperipheral device that we can test on or in a system we do. Alldevices that require a special device or specialty experience that we do nothave our testing begins and ends with power testing. After testing weinspect for physical damage or inconsistencies. If there is any wear outside ofthe normal of a used item we either mark the item to note its damage or wearinthe listing or we scrap it. Serial numbers are recorded by thereceiving and testing department, and each item is marked with security sealsto discourage tampering or desoldering of components in the classroom.
Returns
If there is aproblem with the item, the full purchase price will be refunded to the buyerwithin five business days following receipt and inspection of return. Itemsmust be returned in original packaging or similar packing, insured for purchasevalue.
For returnednon-defective items, our cost for actual shipping charges will be deducted fromthe refund, and includes items sold with Free Shipping. (Example: if the itemsold for $30 and cost us $10 to ship to you, your refund will be $20.)

DOA Process
When a buyer initiates aDOA claim we issue them a RMA number and await the return. When the returnarrives the item’s serial number is confirmed. If this is missing or if theseals have been tampered with the warranty is void.
We check the item to seeif it works and that all the components are in working order. If the item isDOA or not as listed we will exchange the item for one that is working (if wedo not have inventory for exchange we will issue a refund. If the item is inworking condition we offer to ship the item back (at the buyers expense) or weissue a refund minus a 20% restocking fee.)

By special arrangement the donors hav given the program anopportunity to replace funds from 2016 reductions in the nonprofits budget, andthe students, and community appreciate your support, and donations will begladly accepted when the program is taken nationally and placed on crowdfundingto expand the acquisition and repurposing of the designated obsolete Windows XPlaptops into tools to equip every student network technician, and practicingprofessionals with the ability to locate, identify threats to the cybersecurity of the network.
The Mission:In the past 6years of the programs developed for students, education, business, and theircommunities, over a thousand computers have been returned to duty that assistedmany young people, isolated communities cross the digital-divide to complete orfurther their education online,
The Vision:The proceeds forthe Cyber Security Warrior Program, are ear-marked to expand the program bypurchasing additional units to allow expansion of the program, in other employableskills, with emphasis on inspiring students, and benefitting the community,with the belief that their actions will inspire other young people, to do thesame.
The Cyber Security Warrior Programadheres to the principles developed and approved by the Board ofDirectors for the Excellence in Education program and promoted a cooperativeeffort among community organizations to recognize students that demonstrate thewillingness to adhere to a high standard that encourages academic excellence,and volunteerism in their community.
How the Program Works:Students are nominated by instructors, professors, and teachers,which the board reviews and approves the distribution of the refurbishedcomputers to the students, in recognition of their citizenship, academicachievement, and attaining the standards of the Excellence in Educationprogram.
The Excellence in Education programprovides incentives for elementary, college, and universitystudents to achieve their goals by volunteering on campus or in their community,and excel in their educational goals.
The incentive of the programis designed to offer the opportunity to disadvantaged students,because many students could benefit, if they could have access to a computer intheir home.
Students in Higher Education, volunteer their time to refurbish the donated computers, whichare certified to return to duty, and offer the opportunity for a student andtheir family to cross the digital divide.
