This is an excellent measurement instrument for amateur radio operators. Similar to that currently used in the ARRL test lab for transceiver testing.
Perform a google search for \"HP 5350B Microwave Counter Teardown\" for some nice photos of the interior of this instrument. It\'s design is simple, robust, and stands the test of time.I purchased two 5350A\'s listed as \"untested, not working\" thinking I would need a spare parts unit to get one going. One was missing the rear panel fuse, which I installed and it worked perfectly, (Geez, how hard was it for the seller to check this ?). The other worked perfectly from the get go. They are both in equally good condition, but I don\'t need two. So, offering this unit up for sale to free up some space in my shack. This unit also includes feet and rack handles so you don\'t need to go hunting for them separately. Please feel free to ask me any questions about this counter.The unit is in good working condition. That said, due to its age and parts swappers I am selling it AS-IS with no warranty and no returns. Only the HP-5350A frequency counter is included. No cables are included. Operation and Service Manuals can be downloaded off the web.
