Default 8820 in France and Spain

I have an 8820 on AT&T with International roaming. I am traveling to France and Spain for a week and had a question about WiFi. If I disable the Mobile Network and enable WiFi will I be able to receive email and will I still get charged the .02/KB.

Thanks

Have you tried disabling the Mobile Network where you are in the US? If so do you still receive email? If so then I would imagine you would have no problem in Europe doing the same thing.
