Default 8320 - IP address no longer valid (wifi) - 10-31-2007, 06:45 PM

Hi all,

I received my 8320 yesterday and the first thing I did was try wifi. It connected and I was surfing the web.

Today I tried and I can't get it to work anymore. On the home screen it shows up with carrier - wifi hotspot name but in the wifi diag. it shows "Ip address no longer valid".

Has anyone found a fix for this problem? I find it really strange because it DID connect/work fine yesterday.

Using DD-WRT.

sounds like you need to reconnect to your router.

I've tried reconnecting several times.

I've rebooted the router and power cycled it.

I've removed and re-added the network.

I've also changed the dhcp start range so that it assigns a new IP and it still won't work.

I just tried manually adding a network now and I get the W002 error but that doesn't help much. Other wireless devices are connecting fine.

Found my error. I had accidentally disabled "Data services" in mobile network options.

This also disables wifi (No idea it would disable wifi and don't remember doing this either)

Dave
That was the error I received when I went into wireless diagnostics.
