Is there any way to use skype on the 8320 that connects through wifi?
I am using Iskoot over blackberry -which use my mobile carrier network- and have also used IM but when I am on a hotspot I would like to use skype without paying the mobile carrier rate.
Any advise?

Since the cell network and Wi-Fi are so different, applications (currently) must be coded specifically to take advantage of one or the other (or both).

AFAIK there is no Wi-Fi Skype client available for BB yet, but whomever brings it to market first could sell millions of dollars' worth up here in Canada given our Rogers data rates!

Can't do it. I use IM+ Skype on my Curve for Skype chat and I carry a Pocket PC phone for free Skype Wi-Fi voice calls.
