Can anyone please help.
The wifi functionality seems to have been disabled on my corporate 8820 (was there when it came out of the box, then the IT guys updated the firmware and it was gone). The wifi boxno longer appears under connections, and there is no wifi menu under options. They have left the host routing table though...

Sounds like they have locked down the Wi-Fi from the BES with the IT policy, only way your going to get it back it to talk to your IT guys and ask them about it.

Thanks. I tried to talk to the IT guys - I got blank stare and then "you must be kidding, right?". So I would say they'll probably not do it. I was hoping they would have just modified the firmware on the device, and updating with the latest version would give me back wifi - even if it doesn't work with my professional email, I should be able to browse at home or hotspots. Any chance this will work?
