Default Please clarify 8320 without H@H

Please Login to Remove!

I am currently an 8700 user through my company's TMO BES account (which is unlimited data). Because it is my company's account, I cannot add H@H. However, I can purchase an 8320. My TMO coverage at my house is iffy. Can I use the 8320 to make voice calls at my house using wifi even if I don't have H@H (I don't care if I get free minutes, I am willing to pay)? My TMO rep says yes, but I want to double-check. This forum sometimes knows more than the reps.

Thanks!

The rep is right, you don't need H@H to get UMA to work. The calls just won't be free, I think Starbucks are the exception though.

Good to know, the rep at the Mall of America kiosk said the opposite was true.
