Default PPTP VPN Help!!

Please Login to Remove!

I just bought a Blackberry 8320, the main reason why i bought it is to go online using WiFI on our universities connection. The problem is that your school uses a PPTP VPN to connect to the WiFi and from some research it looks like our phone doesn't support PPTP. Both my friends who have a Palm and a Iphone can connect

Not supported, sorry. The VPN you see on the phone only works in conjunction with a BlackBerry Enterprise Server, it is not a general use IPSec/PPTP VPN implementation for us to connect to our Cisco gear, etc. I've not found a 3rd party client yet either...

That sucks!!! Thats the only reason i bought this phone was to go online in class and scew around!! Let me know if u find a app that will fix this prob.. I know that palm has a application that u can download that will fix this issue.

try disabling vpn from security settings and then set browset to wifi browser hope it helps.
