Unhappy wifi problems please help ! - 03-28-2008, 10:07 PM

Hello, i just got a blackberry 8310 from a friend since he upgraded and so far its pretty sweet. I just have a quick question about the wifi. When i goto manage connections the wifi option (checkbox) does not show up. I've tried resetting it by removing the battery and still nothing. I really don't know what else to try. I am on ATT and i do not have a data plan. Basically i just took the sim card out of my moto razr and put it in the bb. Do i need to do something else? I installed the desktop manager, although i do not know if i installed it correctly (selecting BES or BIS etc). Im sure this has been beat to death, and i've read the wiki but i cannot find anything. If someone could help me or point me in the right direction to a thread that explains what to do it would be greatly appreciated. Thank

Wirelessly posted (At&t curve)

The 8310 doesn't support wifi. Only the 8320.
