Default UMA rebooting 8320 - 05-10-2008, 03:47 AM

My UMA has been working great the last four or 5 months, suddenly I come home yesterday and after being connected to UMA for a few minutes, my screen goes black and my phone reboots. It's done this during 2 calls as well. I have a tmobile WRT-54TM router, and I have not changed any setting nor installed any new applications. I took out my sim card and my 4gb card and rebooted my phone a few times now. So far today it worked fine at work but has rebooted four times this evening while connected to UMA at home. I turned of wifi for now in "manage connections" and it has not rebooted yet.

I've read a few posts here about rebooting 8320 and UMA but the cause seemed to be mimo or N routers, and I have just the stock tmobile linksys (latest firmware).

(edit: no bluetooth is not enabled)

Any ideas?

Did you try rebooting your router? Unplug it for 30 seconds and plug it back in.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have done no software updates for quite a while now. Latest firmware, and device software from tmobile.

I kept on rebooting today. I had tweaked with my router settings with wuggested settings from a different thread- but it has worked flawlessly for months.

The log in the 8320 (alt lg lg) says Radio Error: send packet and that is when the phone crashes.

John: I set my router back to factory defaults and I have not crashed yet. Lets see if it holds.

Thanks for the help..
