Default UMA or no UMA - how do you tell? - 05-12-2008, 06:41 PM

Discussion from another board:
HowardForums: Your Mobile Phone Community & Resource - tmoblie and uma questions for H@H?

I am a little confused.

1. If I am subscribed to h@h, then UMA (UPPER CAPS) means I'm tied into wifi and can make free unlimited calls to USA numbers without chewing up whenever minutes, right?

2. If I am not subscribed to h@h, then UMA means I'm tied into wifi but cannot make free unlimited calls to USA numbers and therefore eating away at my whenever minutes?

Essentially UMA signal doesn't per se tell you - you must first have subscribed to h@h?
