Thumbs up DD-WRT v24 Final Released

Please Login to Remove!

As the title says, DD-WRT v24 has officially reached released status. As seen on several threads on this and other forums, DD-WRT offers several customizable options that improve UMA experience as well as general performance of your wireless router.

One feature addition of use to people who want to use UMA in conjunction with bluetooth is bluetooth coexistence mode.

Be careful being an early adopter - read the community forums for any issues with your particular hardware, as there are already a few issues (one of which would directly affect me and my hardware). I love using DD-WRT, but their QA and release quality is pretty shoddy, every release seems to have bugs...

Port problems specifically, Linksys:
DD-WRT Forum :: View topic - v24 port problems

Broadcom (Linksys, e.g.) forum with many problem reports:
DD-WRT Forum :: View Forum - Broadcom based hardware

I personally will stick to v2.3sp2 until there's a v2.4sp1 or something, I think - I've never, ever trusted a "dot oh" from this project, it's always broken in many ways. *shrug*
