Default someone please help me - 05-24-2008, 06:48 PM

i just got my curve a few days ago without a data plan.

mostly because i dont need web browsing and i could live without email on my phone.

but ive been looking around the forums and a lot of the people with the tmobile curve have the enabler feature to their plan.

but the question that isnt being answered for me is does this service enable aim, yahoo, msn and all the other IM clients? it would be great if i could get those to work because all i get when i try to sign in is "please go to blackberry.com/go/aim".

your help is greatly appreciated

Wirelessly posted (8310; The Juggernaut)

You need to set you TCP settings, see our http://www.blackberryfaq.com/index.php/Main_Page for details how, call TMO to put the BlackBerry Feature Enabler on your accpunt.

and now my mms works perfectly.

but now i cant seem to get the instant messangers to work
when i try to log in it still says "go to blackberry.com/aim to activate"

is there anyway to fix this?
or does instant messaging not work even with the enabler on?
