Default VOIP on Blackberry - 05-27-2008, 09:02 AM

Hello All,

Just wanted to give everyone something to ponder about. At home I use Voip by Primus and works great may I add. Now knowing that I already pay for a fully functional VOIP from them at home I was wondering if there is anyway to obtain a soft client to be able to connect to my same Primus gateway and use my existing connection? This would be great to get a client like this to work on blackberry's.

Does anyone have any ideas on this? and am I slow or is this already being done?

Thank you

As of now no VoIP clients. The speed of the BlackBerrys processor is a major limiting factor.

I figured WiFi. UMA uses slightly different technology and is built into the phone. I would say the first good chance of VoIP will be on a 9000 series BlackBerry.
