Newer BB Models (than 8320) = better UMA?
I was told by T-Mo that the 8120 (and other makers newer phones) had much better Wi-Fi stability than the 8320 (Curve/T-Mo).
I was wondering if anyone else heard of this, or had the opportunity to try both the 8320 and others...
I am trying to use UMA at home to get service where I don't, but the Wi-Fi was so unstable I gave up. I am thinking (see "hoping") the Bold or whatever comes out will have a better Wi-Fi, so I wanted to see how the other newer BB's were and if the T-Mo reps were lying or not!
Any input would be greatly appreciated!
i dont have any problems with my 8320. what router are you using and have you optimized your router settings for VoIP/UMA calling?
It is basically the same wifi chip so do as above said check you router. Remember it is the reps best interest to sell you another phone
