Default Newer BB Models (than 8320) = better UMA? - 06-23-2008, 02:41 PM

I was told by T-Mo that the 8120 (and other makers newer phones) had much better Wi-Fi stability than the 8320 (Curve/T-Mo).

I was wondering if anyone else heard of this, or had the opportunity to try both the 8320 and others...
I am trying to use UMA at home to get service where I don't, but the Wi-Fi was so unstable I gave up. I am thinking (see "hoping") the Bold or whatever comes out will have a better Wi-Fi, so I wanted to see how the other newer BB's were and if the T-Mo reps were lying or not!

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

It is basically the same wifi chip so do as above said check you router. Remember it is the reps best interest to sell you another phone
