Default No WiFi from 8120 when computer is off - 07-08-2008, 12:58 PM

My Linksys WRVS4400N Router and 8120 do not connect unless my computer is on.

Any ideas before I look at the config tonight? My 8120 has no problem anywhere else.

Not sure what your computer would have to do with it.

With that said, there are issues with N type routers and the Blackberry. I read somewhere that OS 4.5 may have fixed that but have no confirmation of it. Can you set the router to work in G mode only and see what happens?

Some people have gotten them to work. They have been a source of many headaches for others.

Are you getting any error messages on your 8120 when it doesn't connect to wi-fi?
