WiFI or Hotspot Browser -

Hi,
I'm very new to BB as I recently got my blackberry 8820, and I'm not currently registered with my operater i.e(Im using it only as a fone right now).
As I was going through the threads, Ive gota little confused. you see my 8820 (o/s 4.5.0.55) has only got two options in the options>advanced options>browser i.e ewap and hotspot browser, and nothing about WiFI browser, can some one please tell is it normal and wats d difference b/w hotspot and WiFi browser.
secondly, Im also confused about the UMA thing. wat is this and is this used for, can some one please direct me to ant thread from where i can get the explanation?
