Unhappy Bold wifi connection not working - 08-31-2008, 09:23 PM

I apologize for opening a thread in the 9000 forum also.
---------------------

Not sure if a resolution has been found ...

I have a router and even when I disable security for MAC addresses ,I cannot seem to connect . I choose the profile for my connection and my screen says FAILED TO ASSOCIATE with THE NETWORK. ( and this on two distincts routers at different locations)

Any ideas on what i'm doing wrong ?

Try with another router. My Bold is doing just fine on WiFi. I have MAC address filtering enabled - the rest is default factory setting. My router is Linksys.

Default No wifi too - 10-24-2008, 10:30 AM

I have a linksys router WRT-54G.
The router is configured for WPA2Personal with AES.
Now when I use the Bold to connnect with the AP it gives me a message verfication on the network failed.
The bold is configured for PSK.

However when i change the security settings of my router to disabled, I have a wifi connection.

Does anybody have a clue what I'm doing wrong?

I seem to found the problem, the bold can only accept max 30 characters as password.
