Just curious about this.
I have a Belkin router that I use for wireless internet, as my apartment has a built-in ethernet connection in my room for SDSL service. When I turned Wifi on on my 8320, the phone began to spontaneously hard reset itself. Each time it would turn on enough to check security software and then I would see the red LED light up, etc...
Being the avid BBF user that I am (

) I hopped on here and did a quick search and found that other people with Belkin routers have had the same problem. I promptly unplugged my router and all was suddenly well with my phone, and I now use my apartment's wireless connection instead of my wireless via ethernet.
My 8320 has the stock 4.2.2.180 and I read that another user with the same problem upgraded 4.2.2.184 and the problem disappeared. I plan on upgrading to 4.5 in the next few days and since my apartment has wireless, the fact that my router cannot be used at the moment is not of any great importance to me (my parents need a new router anyway, so it won't be going to waste).
What I was really wondering was whether there had been any reason discovered for this? Mostly this is my own curiosity, so... yeah!
