Default please help with browser 8320 - 05-27-2009, 08:00 AM

hi all ive brought my self a 8320 curve i am on pay as you go orange, i have free wap internet in my priceplan but i cant seam to connect to wap only wifi?? even if i go in to browser settings i only have hotspot browser there

can anyone help me please??

When you are using wifi you need to change your browser to a different one -- do you have an option for wifi browser (Options>Advanced>Browser)?

the only browser i have is hotspot

my service book says
wi-fi tcp/ip browser
&
wi-fi tcp/ip transport

this is my first blackberry and i really cant work out how to sort this ive been on to orange they sent me some settings but still not working seams i only have a wifi browser not a wap compatable one i tryed downloading opra mini but it wont instal as cant connect

Try resending your Service Books.


1st Step in Troubleshooting: Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan?
2nd Step in Troubleshooting: Pull the Battery.

do you think its worth a wipe with JL_Cmder v1.9.1.exe and reinstall? but then would i lose the settings i got from orange?

You shouldn't. but I would recommend backing it up before you wipe it.
