Exclamation 63 character PSK issues... - 08-24-2009, 06:12 PM

Just an odd little bug bumped into setting up my home wi-fi connection at home using my 8900. (Os 4.6 tried .231 & .250, and got the same result too.)

Basically, I had my network set up to use a long, 63 character Public Shared Key (PSK,) and my BB would not save it, regardless of what I did about it, insisting that I needed a key that was between 8 and 63 characters long. (Which it was, as I confirmed after numerous double-checks and tedious re-types.)

My ingenious solution ended up being removing the last character from the key, making it a 62 character key, which was saved just fine, and then adjusting all my other devices to use the smaller key.
