Default Cant login to router settings - 10-06-2009, 04:08 PM

I am trying to connect to my local router configuration page via my BB which for me is located at 192.168.1.1. I turned all connections off on my BB except for the WiFi which is currently connected to the wireless network my router is transmitting. Why can i not log into its configuration page, it just times out?

Any help be much appreciated.

Tnx

The router configuration page may not be compatible with the BlackBerry Browser.
This is not uncommon.

Why would you want to configure your router from your blackberry anyway? :S

I tried logging in to my router just for the heck of it using an 8320 curve and had no problem. It's a little slow, but I could login and change settings.

Wirelessly posted (Tmo's cheapest BB customer)

Could be a difference in routers. Works for some, doesn't work for others.
