You need to have Rogers Home Calling Zone:
Rogers UMA Details: "Home Calling Zone" Coming May 6th? | CrackBerry.com
UMA is not specific to Blackberry so a BB data plan is moot.

Thanks, now, i have heard that you dont need the @home plan in the USA?
I do spend alot of time in the USA, so this could be very useful
