Default 8520 curve... cannot use EDGE or GPRS

Please Login to Remove!

Hello there. I am having difficulty with my browser. I get the error message:
"this is a wi-fi service. please ensure your device has an active wi-fi connection and try again"
whenever I search on google or any other default search from the "go" page, and also on other sites.
I have combed through a few related threads, and other people's problems seem to stem from not having the "internet browser" as their default browser... I have internet browser as my default browser and always have, it is only since yesterday that I have had any difficulty using the browser without wifi, normally EDGE and GPRS work fine. So what is the problem here??
Please if there are any similar threads can someone direct me to them, all I seem to be finding is ppl who haven't even set up internet browser in the first place

Wirelessly posted (8820)

How are you accessing the URL? I'm wondering if you accidently bookmarked the page with the browser set to hotspot browser instead of internet browser.
