Default Opera won't connect w/ WiFi

I am not able to connect to the internet using Opera Mini. It picks up my home internet just fine, and it says it's connected. Then when I open Opera, it takes me to the bookmarks page, and I click on something like Facebook, it takes me to the sign in page, and then it says Failed to Connect to the Internet. I know it successfully connected to my wireless internet, it just won't take me to any page. What can I do to fix this?

I have a BB Pearl 8120 and I'm with T-Mobile. I already changed the TCP settings.
