Default WiFi Date working but no UMA connectivity

Please Login to Remove!

Hello everybody i just completed a week long journey to try to solve my UMA issue and wanted to share with you folks since i have seen several posts RE: the same issue.

I have a BB 8900 with Tmobile and up until a week ago I was using UMA on my phone without fail. Then i edited some router settings and UMA... no more. i fought and fought with the router and just now fixed it with a simple issue.. but here is what i learned along the way.
I am using a Tmobile Linksys router
If you use Port Forewarding make sure to have Ports 500 and 4500 allowed
in your wireless settings use channel 1,6, OR 11 i use 6 and it seems fine
If you have Mac Filtering enabled make sure to have your phones mac addressed allowed.

now here is where my issue was.. under Security and VPN my IPSec Passthrough was DISABLED.. after i enabled it and re connected my wifi UMA appeared and was working fine.

Any questions please feel free to email me. I am also a former Tmobile employee so if you need help with anything else i may be some assistance.
