wifi and push mail services

Hello everybody !

I've got a Blackberry curve 8950 and didn't purchase the blackberry option from my phone operator. (bouygue telecom, a french one)

But i would appreciate to recieve and sen mail via my device.

So I'd like to know if it's possible to get mail and send them with just a wifi connection and then, what is needed ?
Should I run a server software on one of my computer or stuff like that ?

Thank you in advance

(and sorry if i 've made some mistakes while describing my issue, I'm not a native speaker)

There is no 8950 model, can you please check which model you have?

Nope. To get push mail, you need the blackberry option. Even for wi-fi.

Wirelessly posted (White and Nerdy)

The gmail app will still work, and you can use 3rd party browsers, but beyond that, you need the blackberry data plan
