Wifi/browser problem! Being charged when in a WIFI Zone

hey!
I have a BB Curve 8900 and although i have WIFI in my house (it is connected to my phone) everytime i go on the internet via my browser i get charged! I have my browser set to 2hotspot browser" but i am still being charged. How can i go on the internet via my WIFI connection and not my carriers connection? Thank you....

Hotspot browser ONLY uses wi-fi.
Therefore if you are browsing successfully using hotspot browser, you are using wi-fi.

Does the browser show the wi-fi symbol in the top right corner?
