Recieved Black Berry while abroad!???!!
 

Ok folks, if anyone can please help my poor soul...

I am from the US, I just upgraded my verizon phone to a verizon BB phone...but I got it to be shipped straight to Prague ( Where I am )

Ok, I have never had a blackberry before so all of this is new to me. I turned on the BB and it registered but then I switched out the SIM ( which came with the phone and yes the phone is unlocked ) and put in a prepaid SIM that I bought here. Now I want to know if I can still setup my email using the free wifi connection I have?

First, "i" before "e" except after "c". ;-)

Second, you will need to get your phone unlocked before you can use your device with another provider's sim card.

Third, you cannot set up email without a BB data plan on your account. Wifi alone will not do it. Sorry.
