Default wifi trouble

I first was able to connect my 8350BB to wifi in the hotels but now I'm unable to connect. When I go to the menu wifi not connected although I can set up a connection it fails to connect. Something is set wrong or switched off. Any suggestions?

Your device has been dropped or gotten wet?

I think this issue is caused when media access control (MAC) address filtering is enabled on the Wi-Fi network, and the MAC address of the BlackBerry smartphone is not accepted.

Not correct. No hotel uses MAC filtering, and most home users do not either.

Call giffgaff and have them add a BB data plan to your account. Need that for the wifi service books.

And do not hijack another user's thread. You should have started your own.
