Default Caller ID and UMA - 09-30-2007, 02:21 PM

I have a peculiar issue with my 8320 and the Caller ID while in UMA mode.
The caller's number shows up, but it does not show the corresponding address book entry.

While on EDGE caller ID associates the address book entry correctly.
Anyone have any suggestions?

I am not experiencing this issue. Are you sure you're getting the addressbook data when callerID call waiting comes in during a GSM call?

Ah. I believe this is also seen as "VPN pass-thru" on some routers.

VPN pass-through was already enabled.
Do I still need open ports?

YMMV, but I am not forwarding any ports. If you forward ports and it starts working, make sure it breaks again if you stop forwarding the ports, then let us know

Dave

Are the ports for 50 and 51 for UDP also?
