Ah yes, that is true. It's been so long since I've set mine up, I forgot. However, for best results (or any working results) upgrade the OS to 4.5 for use with the Apple router.

It appears AT&T has not released 4.3/4.5 in September (at least not for the 8820). Did T-Mobile ever come through for you?

Managed to get my BB (and my users) on WPA2-Enterprise using PEAK, with our in house certificate. We needed to use the desktop sync of Certificates that were already installed on the PC that we synced from.

Everything works great, and to be honest, kicking myself in the pants that I didnt impliment this sooner, OTA and other features like streaming audio, pod casts and video, no longer "cost"

Thanks RIM!

Still no luck after Tmobile's 4.5.0.81: Can't Connect to EAP-TTLS with inner link protocol PAP

Even on computers, one can only connect using Odyssey Client.

Default Issue resolved for me now with 4.5 - 10-29-2008, 12:12 AM

Well, I finally just went and installed the stickied 4.5 OS from another carrier, and it works. I have no idea what AT&T is waiting on.

Yep, still a yellow question mark, and I doubt they'll request a new one.

The MD2 thing is apparently fixed, like you mentioned. I can now connect. Thank you...I would've been pulling my hair out the last few months if I didn't know why.

Sorry for being so slow to post this, but this issue is now fixed with the 4.5.0.81 OS that is available from T-Mobile. Tested, and it works great with our PEAP deployment as stated above.

I feel with you, same problem here.
But maybe this helps you with your computer:

Hello, I just bought my FIRST blackberry (pearl 8120) and have the same problem to connect to Wi-fi at university using PEAP. My software is the new one 4.3.0.115. I did use the Certificate Synchronize to get the "VeriSign Class 3 Public Primary Certificate Authority", but still failed.

here is my configuration:
Security Type: PEAP
Username: <username>
Password: <password>
CA Certificate: VeriSign Class 3 Public Primary Certificate Authority
Inner link security: EAP-MS-CHAP v2
Server Subject: 8021x..example.edu
Server SAN: 8021x..example.edu

Error message: Reason: 4010: Wi-Fi Association Failed.

It seems that most people get the connection worked after the 4.3 software. Any idea what I could do? Thanks!!

follow my last post. When I changed the configuration to:
Username: DOMAIN\username
(others remain the same).

The error message changed to: W010:Wi-Fi Connection Failed. Any idea? Thanks!!
