i am running BES 5.0 and I am unable to search for a user i added into our org more than an hour ago. is there a way to update the GAL on the BES server?
i have restarted the router service, which my understanding is it will search the GAL and locate any new users.

Yes, update the GAL on your Exchange server.

You are incorrect.

By now you should see the user in the GAL.

i can see the new address in the GAL and can email from my outlook. i just cant seem to be able to add this user to the BES server. i can add other users but not any i have recently created after i installed BES

Reboot the BES ... perhaps the GC it is connecting to has problems.
