The Hewlett Packard 5345A Frequency Counter is an 11 digit counter to 500MHz by itself. However using its 1000 second count, a 12th digit can be realized.The 5345A comes stock with an Ovenized High Stability Quartz Oscillator.Using a 5355A Plug-In and 5356A,B or C heads, the 5345A will count to up to 40GHz
The 5355A Automatic Frequency Converter when used with a 5356C Frequency Converter Head provides pulsed and CW frequency measurement capability to 40GHz for the 5345A Counter.0.4 to 1.5GHz prescaled input offers pulsed and CW measurement for the lower microwave range even without one of the heads.This is all accomplished while utilizing the 5355A\'s internal microprocessor which controls the measurement algorithm, computes the input frequency and displays it on the 11-digit 5345A display.
5356C Provides:
  • pulse and CW frequency measurement capabilities to 40GHz.
  • -25 dBm sensitivity
  • 100Hz measurement resolution
  • 75 nsec minimum pulse width
  • 20 nsec minimum external gate
