A real bargain in the world of ever rising packaging tape prices....
I have to be honest here, I thought this would feel like it was thicker tape than how it feels, but having said that, I've used it for a few packages now, and it sticks packages shut just fine, and it definitely IS heavier tape than you get at the Dollar store or by buying the cheap tape at Walmart, so it's still a really good value. It's kind of noisy when peeling it off the roll, which does not bother me, but I have seen some people complain about tape when it's noisy, so I mention it here just so people will know. It does what it's supposed to do, which is firmly hold packages shut. I give it an 8/10, only because I would like it to be a little thicker. You can buy this tape and trust it to hold. I mailed a 10 pound box of stuff to a friend and used this tape on the box, this was a ... You get what you pay for.
This tape is difficult to work with. You just have to decide if you want to spend more money on a tape that might be easier to work with, or less, and deal with this. this gets a lot of white lines running through - like if you stop mid pull it will create a white line - stop again - boom, another white line & it and it can split into more than one piece when you try to pull down on it as a whole. BUT, it also gets a job done . It's stick is just fine. This tape is difficult to work with. Strong, reliable tape
Sticks well to cardboard, as well any other packing tape I've seen. The glue does have a strong smell, but it's not as unpleasant as some have suggested. It also fades away quickly after the tape is off the spool and is entirely gone, at least to my perception, when applied.

Only for utility purposes-- the tape is thinner than standard Scotch packing tape (of any variety). It's not so bad that we're throwing it away, but it's not really good enough to use for packages being mailed to customers. We can use it in-house where appearance doesn't matters. Wrinkles at the edges coming off the dispenser very easily. Oh well.
