Emojies

I seem to be able to receive but person I'm texting can't see them. They are using a W10 phone. Both using O2 in UK so probably not a network problem. Seems to be a Windows issue because it happens with Android too. Has anyone seen a similar problem with emojies? I'm using a Passport. Thanks

Unicode standards are supposed to keep the Emoji looking the same on the receivers end. Unfortunately if the receiver cannot display the same picture some simply blank it out.
There are posts concerning Microsoft emoji issues with not displaying on their windows phones and PC's running windows OS going back a few years.

sounds like a windows phone issue.
